Christian Eschatology is known for being one of the most contentious, entrenched, long-standing debates among those who claim the name of Jesus, and it has proven to be TOO MUCH for some people to unify with other believers over.
Jesus took church unity EXTREMELY seriously. In John 17, he makes it clear that the world will only believe that Jesus is who He says that He is when the believers are completely unified, just like Jesus and the Father are unified.
So, how can eschatology — rather than being a common vehicle for disagreement, division, and disunity — become an extraordinarily UNIFYING experience for the body of Christ?
Let’s get into it.
