Watch the Welcome Video & read below to learn EVERYTHING you need to know about life in the Collective!

It brings me great pleasure to be the first to welcome you into the “All Things New” Membership Community. I am so excited that you’re here!

The “All Things New” Collective is something I’ve had in my heart a long time. And it’s where I intend to deliver my best work.

Please read this entire page as it contains important information for you to get the maximum benefit!

The Collective is built on 4 key pillars:

  1. Core Content
  2. Weekly Content
  3. Community
  4. Q&R (Question & Response)

Let’s go through these in order!

Core Content

The Core Content I’m referring to is the “north star” content around which the entire Collective revolves. Fundamentally, the “All Things New” Collective exists to help serious, thoughtful believers to live every facet, every aspect, and every second of their lives in light of what the Bible really says about Eternity.

I’ve found, through hundreds of counseling sessions and candid discussions with incredible Christian men and women, that the journey the Lord tends to take us on follows roughly 4 Phases:

  1. PHASE 1 → Understanding Biblical Eternity (Live Now in the “My Resources” Section!)
  2. PHASE 2 → Living Our Identity (Live in 2 weeks)
  3. PHASE 3 → Living The Story (Live in 4 weeks)
  4. PHASE 4 → Living The Overlap Life (Live in 6 Weeks)

The Core Content is enough for you to grasp the full picture of the life-transforming Gospel of the Kingdom, and the practical ways that it should change your approach to your daily life as a son or daughter of the King.

Putting it into practice is another matter entirely.

Which is where the next pillars come in:

Weekly Content

As a supplement to the Core Content, the “All Things New” Collective will receive fresh content every week from one of the following categories:

  • Book Club (Chapter Discussions from various edifying books)
  • Live Q&R (Question & Response) Videos
  • Advanced Access to my YouTube Videos
  • Curated Books / Music / Videos
  • Inspiring Quotes and Meditations
  • Master Classes
  • Resources & Guides
  • Case Studies
  • Self-Assessments & Worksheets
  • Workbooks
  • Guest Speakers
  • Behind-the-Scenes Videos

…and lots more!

The goal of the weekly content is to create a regular time, under the Spirit’s guidance, during which we can meet each other’s needs as a community in moving forward with this way of life.

Whether it’s the monthly Q&R time, or Master Classes, or New Trainings, or Book recommendations, or whether we start up a Book Club and read a chapter a week and discuss it, I want this to be fluid and not set in stone, to invite the Spirit to guide as needed for the moment.

But the commitment is that every week, you will receive a new piece of content designed to edify and equip you to live life in light of Eternity.

However, that’s a long road to walk alone… which is why we strongly emphasize

Community

(We can be found in this Facebook Group currently, but we are actively exploring better alternatives!)

The Christian life, properly understood, cannot be lived alone.

The Christianity of the New Testament knows nothing of a “private spirituality”, where it’s “me and God against the world.” The very word we translate as “church” (ekklesia in the Greek) means “an assembly”.

Unfortunately, many of our church communities are very insular, clique-ish places where expressing doubts, questions, or uncomfortable thoughts is frowned upon and even scorned from the pulpit.

I speak with thousands – yes, thousands – of Christians for whom their church community is not a safe haven of grace and mutual edification, but an army of individuals smiling glibly and sharing Christian colloquialisms, with no real depth of relationship, gathering to stare at the back of another person’s head for 2 hours while passively jotting down notes from a sermon.

Not all church communities are like this – but very, very many are.

This is not what the New Testament has in mind, and I intend to do my part to fill in the gap.

The church as God envisions it is a vibrant, others-focused, radically truth-and-grace-filled community of people learning to live as New Humans in light of the fact that Jesus is now the world’s rightful king.

Every letter that ever flowed from the pen of the Apostle Paul, or Peter, or John, or James, is an instruction from a mature follower of Jesus to a community of newer followers of Jesus, centered on how to live out the central reality that the New Creation has been launched and Jesus’ Kingdom has been inaugurated on the Earth.

And these communities were non-hierarchical, open, participatory, Spirit-led, and radically intimate.

This is the vision that I have for the “All Things New” Collective’s community, and I fundamentally cannot do this alone. I need your help to make this community as beautiful as it can possibly be.

If you are seeing this, you are one of the very early adopters of this message. You are one of the very earliest members of this community, and therefore you have both the honor and the privilege of shaping what this community will become for all who follow after you.

Nothing is off limits except for openly selfish and sinful activity. If your post is not appropriate for God’s people, or can be categorized as sinful in any way (slander, selfish ambition, vain conceit, outright heresy), we can’t tolerate it.

With that said, we will be a community that is VERY tolerant of a wide array of beliefs under the general umbrella term of “Christendom”.

As long as you agree with the Nicene Creed, we are good!

I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

(Note – “catholic” doesn’t mean the denomination, it means “universal”. Catholics are welcome as long as they agree with the rest of that! ↑ Also, “apostolic” just means “sent out on mission”. We should all be in agreement there!)

All of this brings us ultimately to:

Q&R (Question & Response)

You will have questions. This is OK, good, and even encouraged.

You can take these into the Community for a community response if you’d like.

But I wanted to create a more structured way for me to approach the answering of questions, which is why I’ve created the Q&R Form!

The Q&R Form exists for all users to submit a question to us and expect a response.

Give us some time to think about a response. We will respond in one of the following 4 ways:

  • Email → Reserved for simple questions that have simple answers.
  • Live Q&R in the Group → Reserved for helpful questions that lots of people ask – so everybody can learn!
  • Personal Loom Video → Reserved for complicated, private questions that might not be easy to answer.
  • YT Channel → Reserved for great questions that need the most thorough treatment. I’ll record a video for my YT channel.

(Important note for YT responses: I will protect your privacy at all times! I will start the video by simply saying “One of my Membership Students asks…” so that your personal information is not being disseminated to the entire Internet.)

We will have to be judicious about this and guard our time and energy if this ends up getting abused – I’m making it available for now and I intend to keep it open as long as possible, but if I start receiving requests for information that is available elsewhere in the Collective, or completely off-topic, or something of that nature, I might have to take it down.

Please use the Q&R Form liberally and without fear for genuine questions – but please also treat it with respect so that we can maintain the blessing of frequent responses as long as possible!

That’s the “All Things New” Collective in a nutshell!

Last Minute Details

Here are a few more minor details that might make this an easier, cleaner experience:

Receiving Our Emails

The emails will come from [email protected], so please add that email address to your address book / contact list, and please otherwise tell your email providers that you WANT to hear from us! Take us out of the Promotions tab, star us as important, whatever is necessary to get the content front and center.

We promise to take extra good care of your email inbox – we hate spam just as much as you do!

Your Subscription

If you subscribed annually, your subscription will be automatically renewed each year so you don’t have to worry about being cancelled from the Collective. Monthly subscribers are renewed every month!

Customer Service & Support

The ONLY resource that should be used for questions, requests, or problems associated with the Collective is the Membership Support page. We have no customer support phone number, and emails sent directly to me are almost CERTAINLY going to get lost in the shuffle. We only use the above form for this purpose, and it is designed expressly for that purpose.

General Guidelines

Always be kind and think the best. Snarky comments. Rude comments. False accusations. Imputing evil motives to a person’s heart. Any comments that tear people down (including those who publish the content) will not be approved. When in doubt, just ask yourself this question before posting. “How would I feel if someone said this to or about me?” Note that this kind of toxic behavior is so serious and destructive that a person who engages in it will be removed from the Collective.

Do not promote, solicit, or advertise anything – that includes a church, a business, another ministry, another author’s books, blogs, Facebook pages, groups, etc.). If we say yes to one promotion/recommendation, we have to say yes to all. And this puts us in a position to have to sift through what recommendations are helpful and healthy from those which are not. We just don’t have the time to do this kind of investigation so it’s simpler to stay focused on the Collective’s purpose.

The Collective was created because people asked Tim for mentoring and to connect with others who appreciate his work.

So the purpose of the Collective is to discuss the monthly content, not to promote things outside of it and run the risk of getting distracted by disagreements over other authors and their works.

The reason is that we don’t want to be put in the position of referee, where we allow some works of others to be permitted and others declined. That kind of judging takes up extra bandwidth that none of us have.

Do not use the Collective to promote your church or to “create” a new church. The Collective isn’t a “church finder” or “church builder” site. We have people from all different denominations, movements, and church forms on the Collective, including pastors and seminary teachers. All are welcome. As relationships develop, people often begin meeting regularly and that includes connecting with other people’s fellowships.

If you disagree with someone, disagree respectfully. This probably goes without saying. We’ve never had a problem with this so far.

Thanks once again for joining the “All Things New” Collective!

Over the course of the next few days, I will send you a few videos to make sure that you have quick, easy wins as part of this community!

I am, as I said, overwhelmed with excitement for everything that comes next, and I think that the best is yet to come in the months and years ahead!

Further up and further in!
